Band BoosterClub

The Band Booster Club is a group of dynamic parents and volunteers who support the band in all of its endeavors.  Be it refreshmants after a rehearsal, supervision and assistance for fundraising, or chaperoning the numerous trips near and far, the members of the booster club are part of the foundation that provides these bands solid support.

President

The simplest way to explain this position: REPRESENT the BANDS & Orchestra interests. Work WITH (and NEVER AGAINST) the band director and staff. Share the position of ALL parents to be discussed. Keep perspective in order and work with the administration and beyond for support as needed. Speak the truth in love, understanding that STUDENTS come 1st, but in order according to district policy and standards. Help organize the efforts of others that love the band and orchestra.

Volunteer/Alumni Coordinators

Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. the man had scores of people that represented his ideals and ideas. Some did not. It is up to coordinators to know the difference and garner the support needed for students to thrive while organizing their efforts as well.

Members At Large

No one can be everywhere at once. There are administrators, school boards, community agencies, businesses, faith-based entities, government agencies, youth advocacy agencies, maintenance and grounds, and management that all benefit with the student ensembles thrive. Represent us so that we are always vicariously "in the room where it happens"

Fundraising & Sponsorship Chairs

M O N E Y - It costs to move hundreds of pieces of equipment and people around to perform breathtaking memorable shows and keep ALL things in top condition. The staff MUST concentrate on teaching. We need financial support to provide students with what is needed to be a world-class organization. THERE ARE many who want to help. We just need focused attention. Can YOU help with that? Let us know.
